Before Becoming a Digital & Content Marketer

I used to be an ESL teacher and thoroughly enjoyed it while in South Korea and Oakland, but with California's budget squeeze, I decided it was time to get into another field instead of moving out of my beloved state.

Northern Cali Bug
I've since then been constantly educating myself via startup books, podcasts, webinars, growth meet-ups, and online and offline in digital marketing classes and entrepreneurial classes. On the side, I help friends with their startups online or consult them with online platforms for social and e-commerce. Bridging people and sharing my knowledge has become empowering for both sides.

Free Time
I like frequenting art and foodie events, hiking, skiing, yoga, dance and setting up informational interviews to learn about companies that fall into themes I connect with. Examples might be IDEO, Hearst Media, Pereira & O'Dell and more.
